Detail from the 1880 Federal Census, Paint Twp, Highland Co, OH, showing the household headed by Abigail Spargur. The third person listed in the household is Abigail's son Reuben (here spelled "Rhuben"), and the last person is Reuben's wife, Sarah R[eed] Spargur. The relationships are supposed to be the relationships to the head of household, so Sarah should have been identified as daughter-in-law, not wife.
