J. Allan Christensen

J. Allan Christensen, 77, passed away December 34, 2010 in Ogden, UT at McKay Dee Hospital surrounded by his family. Allan was born on February 11, 1933 in Bear River City, the son of Joseph and Lois Jenson Christensen. He married Noreen Nish August 28, 1974 in Elko, NV.
He spent many days hunting and fishing and had a passion and love for flying. He retired from the United States Air Force after faithfully serving his country for over 20 years. He served in both the Vietnam and Korean Wars. His military service took him to 56 countries and 48 states. He later worked and retired from Hill Air Force Base. Grandpa Christensen was a special grandpa to his grandkids and brought them so much joy and happiness each day they would visit. He was a member of the LDS church.
Allan is survived by his wife Noreen; two sons Jeffery (Rosi) and Joseph; five grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylee, Lexi, Brooklyn and Rachael who all loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: JoAnne and Helen and brother in law Milton Busby.

Interment will be at the Bear River City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
