Helen Marinda Ditty
Helen Marinda Ditty died at her home at Summerville, Pa., May 31, 1934, aged 77 years, 8 months and 1 days. Complication of diseases caused her death.
Deceased was a daughter of Hiram and Susan (Mauk) Carrier and was married to Edward Ditty. To this union nine children were born, two of whom preceded their mother in death. Those living are James D. of Summerville; Howard H. of Prospect; Dorothy L. of Brookville; Mrs. Ida M. Root of Cambridge Springs; Mrs. Emma Ohl and Kathryn Magill of Baxter, and Nan H. Nygren of Albuquerque, N. Mex. She is also survived by her husband, five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held at the home. June 2, and were conducted by. Rev. Mr. Frampton. Interment was made in the Carrier cemetery.
Mrs. Ditty had been a member of the M. E. church for 65 consecutive years and was highly esteemed by her friends and neighbors.
