Survived by his wife of 58 years. Loving father of four sons. Dearest brother of John Barnes (Joanne). Beloved nephew of Roberta (Norman) Schroeder. Also survived by seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Eugene was a member of the Masonic Lodge 580 Golden Key, and a member of the "Fun" Club. He was a SFC U.S. Army in Korea, a a lifetime member of the American Legion, Electrical Contractor and City of Taylor Electrical Inspector for 25 years. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and had a pilot's license. Attended Stephens Methodist Church.
