Mrs. Miller was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ in each place. Fred died in 1989 in North Charleston, South Carolina where they had retired. Mrs. Miller was also predeceased by her daughter, Barbara and four of her sisters: Marjorie, Geraldine, Carolyn, and Edith as well as their brother Charles.
In addition to a large extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins, she is survived by her son, Doug and grandson, Zachary of San Diego, California and her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Dan Proctor of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; one sister Nancy Foster Trollinger of Lexington.. She is also survived by a grandson, Josh Proctor and his wife Darenda of Elm City, and her granddaughter, Jessica Willis and husband Dave of Spring Hope, North Carolina. Seven great-grandchildren who loved and helped care for their Grandmother are: Casey, Caitlin, Kendall and Caleb Proctor and Victoria Elizabeth, Elaina and Liam Willis.
