Rachel Ann Arie was born near Elmwood, Knox County, Illinois, July 4, 1848, and passed away at her home in Superior, Nebraska, August 25, 1932, at the age of 84 years, 1 month, and 21 days.

She was united in marriage to Narcellas J. Logan at Gilson, Knox County, Illinois February 22, 1869. To this union six children were born, Mrs. J.W. Arie of Oakley, Kansas; Mrs. Vadie Geisinger, of Oberlin, Kansas; Narcellas Logan of Tankowa, Oklahoma; Mrs. Charles Jones, Oberlin, Kansas. Two children, James and Willie died in infancy. Mr. Logan passed away February 14, 1881.

On February 13, 1882 she was united in marriage to John F. Hilton at Waco, York Co., Nebraska, who preceded her in death November 4, 1893 at Oakley, Logan County, Kansas. Three children were born to this union, Mrs. P.P. Fringer, Oberlin, Kansas; Mrs. H.E. Carlson, Superior, Nebraska; Mrs. H.B. Fortney, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Mr. and Mrs. Bronson were married at Denver, Colorado November 15, 1907, and have made their home in Superior since 1912.

She is survived by her husband, the children we have mentioned, twenty-three grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held from the home on South Bloom Street Saturday at 2:30 P.M.
