Milford: Retha M. Roper Campeau, 80, passed away December 21, 2010 at the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital. She was born June 16, 1930 in Lynndyl, Utah to Henry & Jessie Mae Sherrif Roper. She married Arleigh Campeau who preceded her in death October 6, 2005. Retha was a great tailor and seamstress and she love to cook especially for her family. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go hunting and fishing in the mountains. In her younger days she was a member of the Ladies Auxilliary. Her greatest love was her husband and her family. She is a great mother and will be greatly missed by all those who knew her and loved her. She is survived by four children, Gregory (Peggy) of Delta, George (Penny) of Lake Havaua, AZ., Joel Scott of Milford and Alan (Jodi) of Milford. She has 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Two brothers, Merrill Roper of St George and Burns Roper of Nevada. One sister, Wilma Spring of Nephi. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jode Campeau, her husband Arleigh and 1 sister Verla. At her request she will be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
