October 23, 1941 - December 28, 2005

William "Willie" B. Andrews, Sr., age 64, of 924 W. North Street, Bremen, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2005, at 1:50PM in the Bremen Health Care Facility. He was born October 23, 1941, in Madison Township in Elkhart County, to Otis G. & Edna (Hoffman) Andrews.

A lifelong Bremen resident, Willie worked for Bremen Castings. He also served in the U.S. Army, was a member of the Bremen V.F.W. and the Warsaw American Legion.

Survivors include 2 sons: Bill (Lisa) Andrews of Bremen, Greg of Bremen and a daughter: Tracy (Andrew) Hochstetler of Nappanee and a brother: George J. Andrews of Bremen. 6 sisters: Nellie Vangilder of Plymouth; Esther Dyer and Ethel Renes, both of South Bend; Delores Bunch of Elkhart; Dorothy (Mel) Tener of Bremen and Erma (Glenn) Hochstetler of Nappanee. 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers: DeVere "Andy", Don and Edgar Andrews.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2005, at 11:00AM at the Bremen Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Pastor Mike Andrews will officiate. Burial will be with military honors. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be given to the Bremen Health Care Facility or the Centers for Hospice and Palliative Care, South Bend.
