Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar (Olga) Swenson, 79, of New Richland, who died at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Lakeshore Nursing Home at Wesaca, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Trinity Lutheran Church.
Interment will be in the St. Olaf Cemetery.
A lifetime resident of Waseca County, she was the daughter of the late Olavus and Laura Bakken, born March 17, 1894. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran and its ALCW.
She was married to Ingolph Swenson, October 13,1929. He had preceded her in death May 24, 1962.
She was married to Oscar H. Severson in Feb. of 1915 and had preceded her in death June 6, 1923.
Her parents, four sisters and a brother had also preceded her.
Survivors are;
Two daughters,
Mrs. Virgel (Orella) Johnson of New Richland
Mrs. Raymond (Mildred) Johnson of New Richland.
Brother, Lewis Bakken of Prairie Manor Nursing Home at Blooming Prairie
Four grandchildren
Four great grandchildren.
