"Molly" Scheie and her siblings, Julia and Leo, were all born in Boyd County, Nebraska, on their father's farm next door to their maternal grandparents, Christian Olsen Blele (Blilie) and Olene Guldbrandsdatter. Sometime after their mother Minnie's death in 1897, they lived with their Scheie grandparents in Alton Township, Brookings County, South Dakota, and later in Luverne, Minn. Their father Carl left for Alberta to look for a homestead, around 1899-1900. His parents brought the three children up to New Norway, Alberta in about 1907 where they joined Carl's growing family.
Molly and Lionel, "Len" married and lived mostly in Edmonton.
