Henderson - Ruth Massengill Sparks, 81, formerly of Memphis, retired from St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis, died of heart failure Monday at the Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Casey Funeral Home with burial in Sweetlips Cemetery in Chester County.
Mrs. Sparks, the widow of Walter Clarence Sparks, leaves a daughter, Patricia Lishman of Olive Branch, MS; a son, Roy Taylor of Blytheville, AR; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
