Henry Diede, 79, Bismarck, passed away Dec. 21, 2010, in a Bismarck care center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Bismarck Funeral Home with Pastor Dom Vetter officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Henry was born on Aug. 15, 1931, in Baldwin, to Henry and Anna (Miller) Diede. He married Margaret Travis on Oct. 20, 1958, in Bismarck. They farmed in the Baldwin area until 1960. They then moved to Bismarck where Henry worked retail for 22 years. He then worked with the Federal Crop Insurance as a crop adjuster. Henry retired in 1998.
Henry is survived by wife Margaret; son Jeff, Bismarck; grandson, Elijah; brothers, Alfred Diede and Gus (Eleanor) Diede; sisters, Ann (Ray) Herman and Esther Ziezler; and many nieces and nephews.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Amelia and Clara; and brother, Leonard.
