TIMMONS, LAURA — Mrs. Laura Timmons, former Fillmore county resident, died at Omaha December 21, 1943.
The deceased was born at Lafayette, Ind., September 11, 1859. She grew up in that state and was married there in 1887 to Benjamin F. Timmons. The Timmons family came to Fillmore county, Nebraska, in 1890, first residing in the Strang vicinity and later in Geneva. The family moved to Omaha in 1918.
Mrs. Timmons is survived by ten children, Rae of Richmond, Cal., Charles of Dannebrog, Neb., Oliver, Ralph and Glen of Omaha, Mrs. Ethel Kelly of Omaha, Mrs. Mildred. Revell of Huntington Park, Cal., Mrs. Louise Knott of Lincoln, Mrs. Margaret Neff of Omaha and Miss Helen Timmons of Omaha, also twenty grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the congregational church in Geneva at 11 a. m. Thursday, December 23, Rev. Isaac Cassel officiated. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
