This is a true story as told to Ben Reid, by Mamie Yeargan.
When she lived in Wyoming, she decided she wanted to go riding one day. She was soon in the middle of a "White Out", the snow was coming down very hard, and made it hard to see. Her horse stopped dead in it's tracks, refusing to move. So, Mamie got off the horse and started to pull, but her horse would not move. Mamie started to look around to find out where she was, then she saw why her horse wouldn't go any farther. They were standing at the edge of a cliff.
