Democrat Leader, Friday December 25th, 1931:

Mrs. William Terry died Wednesday noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter E. Goodman, 1611 N. Thirteenth street, after a several weeks illness.
She was born in Lafayette Nov. 17, 1860 and had lived here all her life except for about eighteen years, when she made her home in Chicago. Her maiden name was Fannie E. Ewry and she was the daughter of Jacob and Mary E. Ewry. Her marriage to Mr. Terry, a well known veteran printer of this city took place June 1, 1887. Mr. & Mrs. Terry moved to Chicago shortly after their marriage, the husband having been employed for many years by the American Press
association there. In 1904 they returned to Lafayette for residence. Mrs. Terry was a lifelong Presbyterian and belonged to Central church in this city. Her husband and five children survive. The children are; Ernest E., John W., William F. , and Frank M. Terry and Mrs. Mary E. Goodman. There are also seventeen grandchildren.
