Nellie Tempie Sigmon, 90, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, in Fort Smith. She was born June 6, 1914, in Magazine. She was a member of Haven Heights Baptist Church, where she worked in the children's ministry for many years, and the widow of Daniel Sigmon. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Roberts Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Booneville with burial at Old Union cemetery near Magazine. She is survived by a daughter, Lois Turley of Fort Smith; two sisters, Lois Young and Blanche Webb, both of California; two brothers, Eugene McDonald of Magazine and Madison McDonald of Lavaca; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Ministry of Haven Heights Baptist in Fort Smith.
