Six Mile – Jessie Alexander Ellenburg, 90, formerly of Gin Shoals Road, Six Mile, passed from this life Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Laurel Hill Living Center in Pickens.
Mrs. Ellenburg was born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Frank H. and Estelle Abercrombie Alexander. She was retired from The Singer Company and was a member of Gap Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Derrill Maxie of Six Mile, granddaughters and grand sons-in-law Lori and Shon Herron of Six Mile and Ashley and Michael Anderson of Easley and 4 great grandchildren, John and Alex Herron and Trey and Jessie Grace Anderson.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ellenburg was preceded in death by her husband John Frank Ellenburg, brothers Harrison and Lawrence and sisters Essie, Bessie, Pearl, and Grace.
Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home with Dr. Boyce Whitman and Reverend Ken Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park and Gardens with Reverend Jeff Whaley officiating.
