GLENWOOD — Jeffrey Malmquist Anderson, 64, of Glenwood, passed away Dec. 22, 2010, in Payson.

He was born Aug. 2, 1946, in Richfield, to Berkley Oliver and Vera Malmquist Anderson.

He married Judy Rebecca Pollock and later divorced.

Jeff spent his life ranching with his dad Berkley, and later his son Scott for many years. He was a great person to his special grandson, Wyatt, and loving granddaughter, Kaitlin.

He checked on Angie, Wyatt and Kaitlin every day. He spent two years in the Army and was a very big influence on his family, friends and all who knew him.

He will be remembered for all his daddy-daughter dates with Kaitlin, doing chores with Wyatt and that most familiar headband.

He is survived by his brother, Dennis M Anderson, Renton, Wash.; daughter-in-law, Angie Anderson; grandchildren, Berkley Wyatt and Kaitlin Rebecca Anderson, all Sigurd.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Scott; and his parents.

Funeral services took place Dec. 27, in the Glenwood LDS ward chapel with Bishop Malcom Nash officiating.

Compassionate services were provided by the Glenwood LDS ward Relief Society.

A family prayer was shared by Jerald Oldroyd (friend), and the invocation was given by Terry Harvey (friend).

Musical selections included "Wind Beneath My Wings," by Jimmy Cooper (friend).

Tributes were given by friends Troy Savage and Shane Wilcox, and Bruce Nielson (friend), served as speaker.

Remarks were provided by Malcom Nash and the benediction was offered by Mauri Parsons (friend).

Pallbearers included Wyatt Anderson, Dennis Anderson, John Nielson, Troy Savage, Shane Wilcox, Dave Simmons, Darwin Simmons, Victor Lopez and Travis Harvey.

Kaitlin Anderson served as the casket escort.

Honorary pallbearers included Steve Colby, Bruce Nielson, Dent Curtis, Ron Utley, Gordon Anderson, Paul Anderson, Cleve Paul, Lyman Forsyth, Jeff Schaugaard, Kelly Schaugaard, Troy Fillmore, D.J. McBride, Mauri Parsons, Dave Urie, Jake Savage, Rocky Buchanan and Tacho Garcia.

Interment was in the Glenwood Cemetery with military rites accorded by the VFW Sevier Post #5050 and the Utah Honor Guard.

The dedicatory prayer was provided by MacLynn Hendrickson (friend).
