Services for Reginald E. Ray, 71, Athens, are scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday in Foster Brown Funeral Home chapel in Athens with the Rev. Grover Bishop officiating.
Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Mr. Ray died Sunday night in a Tyler hospital of injuries received in a pedestrian-auto accident in Athens.
He was born April 5, 1907, in Union Parish, and lived in Athens since 1911.
A Veteran of Foreign Wars member, he was a World War II veteran and a member of American Legion Post No. 173.
He was Methodist. Survivors include one brother, Olan Ray of Fresno, one sister, Mrs. Sadie Hester of Athens; three nieces, Mrs. Harold C. Cook of Athens, Mrs. Norma Jean Resell of Tyler and Mrs. Martino Brito of Lewisville; and one nephew, Robert Harold Ray of Tyler.
Pallbearers will be Jack McCooi, Maurice Majors, Harold C. Cook III, Glenn Majors, R. Harold Ray and J.D. Munns.
