Thelma Bird Harmer, age 90, of Payson, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 1997, in Provo, Utah. She was born February 12, 1907, in Springville, to William Arthur and Mary (May) Amelia Bryan Bird. She married Floyd Finley Harmer in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized July 10, 1956, in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death June 17, 1969. Survivors include a daughter and a son: Beth H. Davis, Provo; Jay (Carol) Harmer, Pleasant Grove; 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a brother and sister: Dean (Ina) Bird and Clara (Gene) Averett, all of Springville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gene Greener, and six brothers and two sisters. Burial was September 6, 1997.
