Margaret M. Eller, 88, of Lafayette, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at St. Elizabeth East hospital.
Born Dec. 20, 1922, in Grant County, she was the daughter of the late Amzie and Jessie Stewart Marley. She attended Michigantown schools, lived most of her life in the Rossville area and moved to Lafayette in 1988.
She married Leroy C. Eller on Jan. 6, 1946, and he died Feb. 12, 1980.
Mrs. Eller was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, bird watching and reading.
Surviving are a son, Timothy Eller (wife: Marcia) of Rossville; a daughter, Barbara Eller of Lafayette; and four sisters, Evelyn Murray of Galveston, Ruth Ann Toler of South Bend, Lois Schimmel of Frankfort and Norma Burns of Carrolton, Texas.
Also surviving are 3 granddaughters, Amanda Eller of Fishers and Katie Eller and Suzanne Eller, both of Indianapolis. Preceded in death by 4 sisters, Frances Wilson, Josephine Mohler, Donna Anderson and Carolyn Bordner; 2 brothers, Ralph and Herbert Marley.
