George Waggoner Barton, 65, of Atcheson Ave., died Thursday at his home. He had been a Mansfield resident for 30 years. Mr. Barton was born at New Castle, KY., January 3, 1907. He was a graduate of Center College, Danville, KY.
Surviving are his wife, Helen. L. Dopps Barton; three daughters, Mrs. Gregory (Phyllis) Kemp, of Mansfield; Mrs. James (Therese) Jamieson, of Lexington, and Miss Katherine Barton, at home; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Thomas of New Castle, KY, and Mrs. Juanita Sailley, of Louisville, KY; two brothers, Lester of Bellevue, KY, and Sidney, of Louisville, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted at Jones Memorial at 8 tonight. Services also will be held Sunday afternoon at the Prewitt Funeral Home in New Castle, KY, where the body will be taken tomorrow.
