William B. Allewelt, 86, husband of the late Mrs. Sarah J. Baker Allewelt, died last night at 9:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John C. Tanger, Jr., 518 Carlisle street.
He was a son of the late Levi and Henrietta Albright Allewelt.
Surviving besides his daughter, with whom he resided, are three sons, Robert L., Harrisburg; Richard B., Ridley Park, and Charles B. Allewelt, 22 Eichelberger street, seven grandchildren, and a brother, Curvin H. Allewelt, Broadway.
The funeral will be held Friday with services at 11 a. m. at the Tanger residence. The Rev. Dr. Nevin E. Smith, pastor of Emmanuel Reformed church, will officiate.
Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
