James Edward Bausman, 74, a farmer on rural route 6, Wea Plains, died Saturday at 6 AM at St Elizabeth hospital of heart trouble. Born in Lafayette, he was a son of Henry and Elizabeth (McKee) Bausman. He leaves three sisters, Miss Alice Bausman, with whom he lived; Mrs Martha Cox, Hoopston, Illinois, and Mts. Sarah Conrad, Elston. He never married. Body at the Baker funeral home, Dayton, after 2 PM Sunday. Services there. Monday at 2 PM. ( Lafayette News paper, Saturday, September 4, 1943)
