Daughter of Arlie K. and Cora I. (Chase) Arbuckle. She was raised in Wichita Falls, attended schools there, and resided there until meeting her husband Gerald, who was stationed at the Sheppard Air Force Base, in Wichita Falls. They moved across the country several times while raising their four children as Gerald was often transferred for duty throughout his 20-year career with the Air Force.

She was always involved in the extra-curricular and sporting activities that her children were a part of. She was a skilled seamstress working many years at Plymouth Stitching in Ashland

She is survived by her four children, Russell Blodgett of Rumney, Darrell Blodgett, of Fairbanks, Alaska, Kelly Howe, of Hardyville, Va., and Stacey Blodgett of Penacook; two brothers, Kenneth Arbuckle, of Somerton, S.C. and Gene Arbuckle of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Mildred Thompson, of Wichita Falls and Norma Clark, of Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
