JOHN W. GOLENOR, CIVIL WAR VETERAN, IS CALLED
John W. Golenor, 80, retired, well-known veteran of the Civil War, died at 7:30 o'clock last evening at the family residence, 1307 South Beacon street. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Beech Grove Chapel, and interment will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Golenor was born in Ohio, and was a member of Williams Post, No 78, G.A.R.
He is survived by the widow, Agnes; three daughters, Mrs. J.H. Stubbs, of Greenville, Ohio, Mrs. B.L. Rees and Mrs. Charles O. Hall, of Muncie; three sons, William C., of Alton, Ill., J.R. Golenor, of Pomona, Cal., and Charles A. Golenor, of Muncie; one brother, David, of South Bend; one sister, Mrs. Martha J. Smith, of Greenville, Ohio.
