ANGELA BRUMLEY
1953 - 2010

Angela "Angie" Diane May-Brumley, 57, of Muncie, Indiana, went peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday afternoon, December 14, 2010, at Clarian Health Partners Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was born October 18, 1953, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Pastor Lansford and Georgia Thompson May.

Angie lived most of her life in the Muncie area, graduating from Southside High School in 1971 and Ball State University School of Nursing. Angie worked as an R.N. at Ball Memorial Hospital for over 33 years in the ICU, Middletown Center and the Medical Diabetes Unit. Angie loved being a nurse and genuinely viewed her occupation as a ministry to others. Her gentle and loving hands cared for all she touched and helped (through God) to heal. Angie was a devout Christian and faithful servant of the Lord. She spent many hours each day studying the Bible, praying and spreading God's love to anyone she came in contact with. One of her favorite verses was Ephesians 4:32 which says, "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." (KJV). She loved the Lord and rarely neglected the opportunity to be a witness for Him. She lived a life wrapped in the love of Jesus and shared that love completely with her daughters, grandbabies, husband, parents, loved ones, family, friends, co-workers and others. She would have us remember this: know Jesus, live Jesus, walk Jesus, trust Jesus and rest in Jesus. Her family cherishes the memories of her faithful and unwavering love for all, which was rooted in His love for her. She was currently attending Union Chapel Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Maude Thompson and Henry and Jesse May, as well as other loving family members.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas G. Brumley, Muncie, Indiana; her mother and father, Pastor Lansford and Georgia May, Morehead, Kentucky; two daughters, Alison M. (Gable) Setka, (husband- CPT. Nathan M. Setka (U.S. Army), Columbus, Georgia; Stephanie D. (Gable) Landes, (husband- Rev. Scott R. Landes), Jellico, Tennessee; one brother, Sr. Chief Thomas L. (J.R.) May (Ret.
