Mrs. Rexrode was born July 31, 1924, in Harrisonburg, and was the daughter of the late Olin Kee and Lona Eye Kee.
She was educated in the West Virginia School System and later moved to the Penn Laird area, where she spent most of her life. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Jacob's Lutheran Church.
On Jan. 31, 1947, she married Dewey Rexrode, who preceded her in death May 9, 1995.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda J. Showalter of Broadway and Wanda R. Wampler of Bridgewater; three sons, Gary Wayne Rexrode of Cameron, N.C., Oliver Clay Rexrode of Keezletown and Timothy Lee Rexrode of Mount Solon; a brother, Aubrey Kee of Harrisonburg; two sisters, Dorthy Sites of Keezletown and Loraine Booten of Elkton; five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Dianna Horton will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jacob's Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 this evening at the Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jacob's Lutheran Church.
