Born in Buffalo, NY in October 1927, she was the daughter of the late, George and Gertrude Decker Schank. She graduated from the Buffalo, NY school system and went on to study music at Syracuse University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music. After marrying her late husband, Andrew Hawkins, they moved to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and then to Sunyvale, CA, following Mr. Hawkins' career with Westinghouse Electric Co. They returned to Philadelphia in 1964 with Westinghouse and later founded ForgCast Industries LTD.
Connie was a devoted member of the Catholic Church and cantored and sang in several Catholic church choirs throughout her life. She was also an accomplished piano and organ player, and enjoyed classical and church music. Connie was an avid swimmer and enjoyed ice skating, water skiing, and boating with her family. She enjoyed participating and volunteering in local organizations. Connie will be remembered as a fair, honest, and loving mother.
She is survived by three children, Andrew Hawkins, Karen Stout, and Sandra Barbee and two grandchildren, Brenden and Brian Bashline.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Centreville on Saturday, December 18 at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Easton.
