Reburial services for Lt. Emmett Collins, Jr., who was killed during the Mozelle River crossing in France, November 10, 1944, will be held at 10:30 a. m. Friday at the Oak Lawn Methodist Church. The Rev. John W. Donaho, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park.

Born at Canton, Lieutenant Collins moved to Dallas with his parents while an infant. He attended the Ben Milam Elementary School and was a graduate of North Dallas High School. He lived at 5210 Vanderbilt.

Lieutenant Collins entered service in April 1942. He received his commission as a second lieutenant from officer candidate school at Fort Benning, Georgia in 1943.

He was a member of the Third Army and participated in the invasion of Normandy.

Lieutenant Collins is survived by his parents and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. McKinnon of Edom, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Philip McKinnon, Edom; W. A. McKinnon, Lindale; B. H. McKinnon, Dallas; T. J. McKinnon, Troup, and G. H. Collins, Jr., Hearne.
