Mrs. Estella Spence Kellam, 93, wife of the late John R. Kellam, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007 after a prolonged illness. Estella was a long time resident of Craddockville, prior to moving to Columbia, South Carolina to be with her daughter. She was an active member of Craddockville United Methodist Church and participated in many church activities.

She is survived by a daughter, Helen K. Presty of Columbia, S.C.; three grandchildren, Teresa R. Presty, Frank P. Presty, Jr., Sharon K. Presty; three great grandchildren, Ali Tuel, Cari Tuel, Kevin Dickey.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Sept 13th at 2:00 PM from the Craddockville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kenneth T. Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Haven Cemetery. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore Wednesday evening from 7 to 8:30.

Estella was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by family and friends. The family wished to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many comforting messages, floral tributes, prayers, and many expressions of kindness and concern. A more personal acknowledgement will be made at a later date.
