Graveside services for Charlie W. Hollebeke, 92, 1905 W. Pierce St., were to have been held today at 2 p.m. at the Carlsbad Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Bacon of First Baptist Church officiating.
Hollebeke died Monday at Guadalupe Medical Center.
He was born July 4, 1896, in Sterling County, Texas. He moved to Carlsbad from Monument Springs, N.M., in 1906. He worked as a cowboy on area ranches. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Audrey Hollebeke, in 1977. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
