NATCHEZ — Services for Ethel A. Murray, 91, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at the Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Tidwell officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Murray was born Aug. 13, 1918, in Bude, the daughter of Elijah Whitfeld and Fannie Lofton Arnold. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years, Doyle Murray; seven brothers; and one son-in-law, Joseph Snyder.
Survivors include two daughters, Lenell M. Snyder of Natchez and Gail M. Tew and husband, Windell, of Natchez; two sons, Billy Joe Overby and wife, Sandra, of Natchez and Lane C. Murray and wife, Elena, of Jackson; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Philip Tew, Steven Tew, Christian Murray, Paul Baldwin, Colton Overby and Matthew Richardson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick and Joseph McDonough.
