Paul E. Sirek, 52, 712 Red Pine Drive, Plover, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1993, in St. Paul, Minn., as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Bronislava Catholic Church. The Rev. Pat Umberger will officiate. Burial will be in the Guardi­an Angel Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Fri­day at the Shuda Funeral Chapel. The Elks Lodge No. 641, of which Mr. Sir­ek was a member, will have a ritual at 7 p.m. and a Bible vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the chapel.
Mr. Sirek was born on April 21, 1941, in Rice Lake, son of Laurene and the late Michael Sirek. He attended Rice Lake Schools and graduated from Rice Lake High School.
He worked at the Home Gas Co. in Rice Lake until 1971 when he went to work for the United Parcel Service. He was transferred to Waukesha in 1972 and came to Stevens Point in 1976. He was currently the automotive manager for the Stevens Point United Parcel Service.
He was married to Judith Kamrath in Rice Lake on May 6, 1961. They were later divorced. He was then married to Joan Ostrowski on Oct. 13, 1990, in Stevens Point. She survives. They were the co-owners and operators of the Arby's Restaurant on Church Street.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited, Muskies Unlimited, White Tails Unlimited, the Elks Lodge BPOE No. 641.
Survivors besides his wife include two sons, Steven (Jacquelyn) Sirek, 5473 Oriole Lane, and Brian (Jean) Sirek, 1700 Green Tree Drive, Plover; two daughters, Catherine (Daniel) Mikolajczak, Milwaukee, and Stacy (Richard) Dominick Jr., 2111 Ellis St.; two stepchildren, Jennifer Ostrowski, Polonia, and Jeremy Ostrowski, 712 Red Pine Drive; nine grandchild­ren; one brother, Michael (Betty) Sirek Jr., Rice Lake; four sisters, Jose­phine (Richard) Dostal, Rice Lake, Maryann (Fritz) Hensel, Cameron, Phyllis (Robert) Denison, Napalwood, Minn., and Judith (Charles) Running, Lake Elmo, Minn.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one granddaughter.
