Mrs. Mary E. Bradley died at her late home in Shirleysburg, on Saturday morning, July 25, 1936, at 2 o'clock. Death was due to a complication of diseases.

She was born in Huntingdon County on January 30, 1864, a daughter of William and Margaret Shope, both deceased. At the time of death, she was aged 72 years, 5 months and 25 days.

Mrs. Bradley was a devout member of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Meadow Green in Clay Township. She was well known in this vicinity and was a kindly and generous mother and wife. She leaves a host of friends who mourn her passing.

Surviving are the following children, Ira E. Bradley, Mrs. Earl Hall, Mrs. Issac Steele, Mrs.Charles Dysard, Kirby J. Bradley, all of Huntingdon; Mrs. William Brumbaugh, of Fairview; Mrs. J.E. Low, of Rome N.Y; and Mrs. Reginald Welsh, of Orangebury, N.Y. Also, one brother, Thomas Shope, of Bradford, and one sister, Mrs. William Marlin, of Eldorado; twenty grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, also survive.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Episcopal Church at Shirleysburg, this Tuesday afternoon, July 28, 1936, at 1:30 o'clock, with the Rev. McKinstry officiating. Interment was made at Cornelius Chapel Cemetery. Greens Funeral Service.
