Mrs. Wynelle Eloise Lee Groover, 68 of Blackshear, passed away Tuesday evening (June 21, 2011) at her residence following a short illness.
Born in Brantley County on November 1, 1942, she had lived in Pierce County since 1976. Mrs. Groover had worked as a shuttle operator for Waycross Molding and was a member of Youmans Chapel Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Noah Albert & Lizzie Inez Dowling Lee. Mrs. Groover was also preceded in death by her husband, Windell Eugene Groover; a grandson, Little Ricky Sheffield; two great grandchildren, Infant boy Carter and Addyson Brea Carter; a sister, Louise James; and two brothers, Tommy Jackson Lee and Gary Nathaniel Lee.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Satilla, 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, GA 31501.
Visitation:
Visitation for Mrs. Groover will be held Thursday evening from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.
Service:
Funeral services for Mrs. Groover will be held at 11:00 o'clock Friday morning (June 24, 2011) at the Youmans Chapel Baptist Church.
Former employees of Waycross Moulded Products are asked to serve as honorary pallbears and need to meet at the church at 10:30.
Cemetery:
Interment will be in the Ramah Cemetery.
