O. C. Adams suffered a stroke on Monday afternoon, his left side being paralyzed. He had been hauling coal and had just entered the kitchen when he was stricken and fell over the table. On Wednesday his condition was reported as serious.

Isaac Charles Adams died at 1:30 am Thursday at his home, 33 Maple Street, Rocky Grove. He suffered a stroke Monday afternoon and despite all possible medical attention, the paralysis proved fatal. He was born at Polk February 12, 1864, son of Raymond and Rebecca Griffin Adams.
His early boyhood was spent in Polk, and later he came to Franklin.
On July 8, 1890 he married Adaline MacDowell (should be MacDonnell) who survives. Of the nine children, thee daughters and three sons are living as follows: Mrs. C. O. Moyer of Springville, Mrs. W. G. Barnes of Toledo, and Mrs. O. D. Miller of Cleveland, Riley and Park Adams of Franklin, and Tim of Toledo; brothers and sisters: C. W. of Raymilton, M. P. of Greenville, John of Polk, Frank of Franklin, Mrs. Dan Greenley and Mrs. Burt Woods of Polk, Mrs. Lizzie of Cambridge, and Mrs. Cash Rice of Grove City.
Services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon be in charge of Rev. E. L. Nicely. Burial will be made in the Franklin Cemetery.
