She was born Feb. 3, 1910, in Seneca County, to John C. and Lydia (Staib) Zuern.
Survivors include: two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Florence) Partridge of Elgin, Ill., and Mrs. Dewey (Elsie) Spoon of Findlay; a niece, Marjorie Clavey of Elgin; a nephew Norman Partridge of Florida; four grand nephews, a grand niece and a great-grand niece.
Two sisters, Gertrude Carmen and Martha Zuern, are deceased.
Miss Zuern, a 1927 Columbian High School graduate, attended Tiffin University. She was employed as a secretary at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and as an insurance agent and secretary in Columbus. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and its Friendship Circle, the Professional Secretaries International, Insurance Women of Columbus and Franklin Mint Collector's Society, where she was a charter member.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Greenlawn Cemetery, with the Rev. David Culp officiating.
There will be no visitation. The Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the church or a charity of the donor's choice.
