Mrs. Sarah Agnes Meredith Cryer, 77 year old Denton County native, died in her home, 415 Wainwright, at 8:15 pm Wednesday.
Funeral services are set for 2 pm Friday in the Central Baptist Church, where Mrs. Cryer was a member. Burial will be in Cooper Creek Cemetery with Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Cryer, a housewife married the late Frances Taylor Cryer in Cooper Creek in October, 1894.
Survivors include 6 daughters, Mrs. Mack Erwin and Mrs. Jeanette Chertz (I'm sure this is Shertz) of Denton, Mrs. Rena Payne of Dallas, Mrs. Ollie Burkett of Alvord, Mrs. Lee Thomas of Sanger and Mrs. Mable Smith of Seattle, Washington; 2 sons Dan of Fort Worth and Dave of Los Alamos, New Mexico; 3 brothers Taylor Meredith of Denton and W. B. and Jack Meredith of Plainview and a sister, Mrs. Belle Ashby of Denton.
