Mae Etta Fletcher Wytch was born on October 20, 1906, in Kosciusko, MS; to the union of Robert and Florence Fletcher, both of whom preceded her in death.

Mae Etta joined New Garden Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age. She did not receive much formal education, but was, however, a very intelligent and hard-working woman. She was a farmer's wife and also self-employed in the domestic field.

Mae Etta and her husband relocated to Milwaukee, WI; on September 9, 1993, where she lived the remainder of her life.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Mae Etta Wytch departed this life on August 15, 2001.

She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Murlene (Joe) Kyle of Milwaukee, WI; Pauline Bradford of Ontario, CA; Minnie Peller of Los Angeles, CA; and Gladys (James) Hammic of Waco, TX; one son, Cuba Wytch of Kosciusko, MS; one sister, Lillie Matt (Clarence) Harmon. She also leaves 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters and two sons, L. V., and Joseph.
