Son of Luke and Alice (Powers) Gregory. He married Evelyn McCullough in Scranton Iowa 16 Aug 1930. They had 4 sons and 1 daughter, Robert, William, George Jr., Raymond, & Ruth. He married Lorna Marie (Rogers) Wever in Webster City Iowa May 4, 1977. He passed away at St.Anthony Nursing Home in Carroll Iowa where he was a resident for 2 months. As a young boy he attended school in Ralston, Scranton, Glidden. He formerly served on the Ralston City Council, Ralston School Board and was a member of Woodmen of the World and the Loyal Order of the Moose. He was a farmer in the Ralston Area most of his life, retiring in 1973.
