Hilda J. Terry, 88, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday December 11, 2010.
She was born November 25, 1922 in Roseville, AR to Neva and Roy Gattis.
She was a retired Bookkeeper for R. A. Young, a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church and Women In Construction.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ruford Terry.
Funeral service was 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Stark officiating. Burial was at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by one daughter Deanna Dysart and her husband Bob of Moore, OK; one son David Terry and his wife Vickie of Roland, OK; four sisters Nina Harrison of Elon, NC, Virginia Poe and her husband Jim of Tulsa, OK, Betty Foster and her husband Bill of Anchorage, AK and Barbara Garroutte of Anaheim, CA; two brothers Donald Gattis of Charleston, AR and Rex Gattis of Charleston, AR; four grandchildren, Rachel Terry of Roland, Brittany and her husband Edward of Roland Eric Dysart and his wife Michelle of Oklahoma City and Chris Dysart and his wife Cristie of Moore, OK; and six great grandchildren, Sylvia Shepherd of Roland, Lauren Sacotte of Oklahoma city, OK, Timber Dysart of Oklahoma City, OK, Cody Dysart of Oklahoma City, OK, Morgan Dysart of Moore, Ok and Madison Dysart of Moore, OK.
Pallbearers were Deacons at Grand Avenue Baptist Church.
