Crowley. Funeral services for Rev. Henry David Stakes,60 of New Iberia, will be at 10:AM today, July 15th in Parkerson Ave Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Maxie Cemetery under the direction of Gessey-Ferguson Funeral Home.
Rev. Stakes died at 9:00 AM Tuesday in Iberia General Hospital. He was a native of Acadia Parish and a resident of New Iberia where he was pastor of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, one brother...Lloyd Stakes of Lake Charles and 5 grandchildren.
Note: Wife's full name is Mayonie Stark Stakes, daughter of Joel Stark & Castella Prather Stark.
