Mrs. Thomas Kyle, aged 71 years, died at her residence last Saturday afternoon. The funeral was held at her home on Monday. Rev. Mr. Hewitt officiated. Her remains were interred in the Woodbridge cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Kyle, of Iowa, spent a part of last week at James Lane's. They came on a sad errand. Instead of returning to celebrate the wedding anniversary of their parents, as they hoped to do, they met brothers, sisters, and friends at home, but found father alone to entertain them. Mother was silent, O, so silent. But when they all meet again parting will be unknown and she will be watching for them to enter the "gate that stands ajar" and "home sweet home".
