Abraham Kyler Flegal, oldest and one of the most respected residents of Blue Ball, died on Monday at 2:15 am at his home. Mr Flegal had been in ill health for anumber of months and on Friday suffered a stroke from which there was no hope of recovery. Born in Decatur Township Dec 29, 1847 Mr Flegal was 84 years 2 months and 14 days old at the time of his death.
In 1902 Mr Flegal was married to Mary De Armit. He is survived by his widow, two nephews at Wallaceton. Mr Flegal was well known and well liked throughout this section, where he has spent all lis life. He was long a member of the Methodist Church, and prior to his retirement eight years ago had been employed by the mining department of the General Refractories Company.
Funeral services will he held on Thursday March 17 at 2pm at the Methodist Church. Interment in the Mock Cemetery.
