Mr. Billy "Bill" Floyd Williams, 71, of Dumas, Arkansas, was born in Brookston, Texas on August 20, 1931. He was the son of Elmer C. and Edna Dickinson Williams.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, in Dumas, Arkansas. He was a retired farmer and mechanic. He departed this life on March 5, 2003, and was preceded in death also by two brothers, Frank & Sidney Williams, a sister, Edna Faye Nuckles.

Survivors are his loving wife he met while in the Army in Germany was Mrs. Hildegard Williams of Dumas, Arkansas. They married on August 20, 1954. He is survived also by three sons, Harold Williams of Dumas, Erich Williams of Memphis, Tennessee, and Thomas Williams of Dumas, Arkansas. Three surviving brothers at the time of his death are: Ben, Homer and Harry Williams. Also, a sister, Emma Lou McWhirter [since deceased]of Fordyce, Arkansas. Also, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2003, at Calvary Baptist Church with Julius Carter and Homer Williams, his brother, officiating the going home service to many grieving family, and friends. His interment was at Walnut Lake Cemetery at Pickens, Arkansas.
