Kathryn "Katie" Canada passed away on December 9, 2010 in Cedar Park, TX. She was born on July 4, 1923 in Hominy, OK to Jerome and Mary Streetman. She lived most of her life in Oklahoma City where she was a secretary for Kerr-McGee Corp. for many years. She served our country during WWII, working in The Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Most of all, Katie was a loving Sister, Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by sisters Fannie Brown of Sapulpa, OK and Geraldine Downey of Hominy, OK; sons Ron Canada and wife Lynette of Bristow, VA and Keith Canada and wife Andrea of Leander, TX; grandchildren Christopher, Maria and Kathy. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9AM until 8PM on Monday. Graveside service will be held Tuesday Dec. 14 at 1PM in the A.J. Powell Cemetery in Hominy, OK.
