Mrs. Ada Little Emery, 97, of Blountsville, passed away at St Vincent's Blount Hospital on Feb. 16, 2010. Mrs. Emery was a homemaker. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Mrs. Emery was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lee Emery; son, Ronnie Dickey; daughter, Edit Emery; sons, Gordon Emery and Johnny Emery; parents, William Bennett and Mary Rainwater Little; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mrs. Emery is survived by her sons, Erby Emery and Earl Emery; daughter, Linda (Raymond) Martin; step-daughter, Opal (Ezra) Pool; brother, Willie Hugh Little; sister, Jewel Wilkerson; 16 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Blountsville Funeral Home with burial in Gibbs Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Kenneth Little will officiate with Blountsville Funeral home directing.
