OBITUARY FOR HATTIE M COSBY PAYNE - Mrs. Hattie Cosby Payne, passed away at her home 312 Brown street, Saturday night at 10 o'clock. She had been ill for sometime and the death was caused by consumption. Deceased was the daughter of Columbus and Fanny Cosby and was born in Mo., February 16, 1883. Most of her life was spent in and around Stockwell, last fall the family moved to the city. Mrs. Payne's husband is a teacher in the school at Hebron, this county. She was a member of the Methodist church at Stockwell. The interment will be in the Stockwell Cemetery.
