The establishment was founded as Lehmann's Hotel in the early 1860s, and during 1893-1894, while known as Willet's Hotel, served as the temporary headquarters of the Town of Flatlands Police Department (building demolished). Mr. Abraham is interred with his wife, the former Mathilda Zinn.
